1. Overview

KANASA VPN ("KANASA", "we", "our", or "us") provides a VPN service through our mobile applications and websites (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, what we don’t collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Our No-Logs (No Activity Logs) Policy

We are built for privacy. We do not collect, store, or share your:

  • Browsing history
  • Traffic destination, content, or packet inspection data
  • DNS queries
  • VPN-assigned IP address history
  • Original (real) IP address while connected to the VPN

In other words: we don’t log what you do online through the VPN tunnel.

3. Information We Collect

To operate and improve the Service, we collect limited information in the categories below.

3.1 Account Information

  • Email address (if you create an account): used for login, account recovery, and service communications (like critical security notices).

3.2 Subscription and Payment Information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are handled by third-party payment processors or app stores (for example Google Play). We do not receive or store your complete payment card details. We may receive limited purchase data such as subscription status, transaction identifiers, and renewal dates to manage your access.

3.3 Diagnostics and Performance Data

We may collect minimal technical data to keep the app reliable and to troubleshoot issues. This can include:

  • Crash reports and error logs (may include device model, OS version, and app version)
  • App performance metrics (e.g., connection success/failure, latency measurements)

We use this data to improve stability and fix bugs. It is not used to track your browsing or activity.

3.4 Support Communications

If you contact support, we’ll receive the information you choose to share (for example: email address, problem description, screenshots, and diagnostic details you send us).

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service (authentication, subscription checks, core functionality)
  • Improve performance and user experience (bug fixes, reliability improvements)
  • Prevent abuse and protect the Service (fraud, automated attacks, misuse)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Send important service notices (security, major policy updates)

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to allow account recovery and resolve disputes.
  • Diagnostics data is retained only as long as needed to analyze and fix issues, then deleted or aggregated.
  • We do not retain activity logs because we do not collect them.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information only in these situations:

  • Service providers: vendors that help us run the Service (e.g., payment processing, crash reporting). They are allowed to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety: if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect users. Because we do not keep browsing/activity logs, we generally cannot link VPN activity to a specific user.
  • Business transfer: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and minimize what we collect.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. You can request help by contacting us (see Section 11). You can also uninstall the app at any time.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International Users

Our servers and service providers may be located in different countries. By using the Service, you understand that information described in this policy may be processed outside your country of residence.
